Some interesting stories Good read for McCartney fans The,LEGend, that is Sir Paul McCartney A,must have for,all Beatles fans Looked good, was a present Great read Have read so many music biographies, of all standards, but it s always great to let the subject set the record straight This is a fab book , a fitting tribute to a legend Treat yourself. Extremely well edited interviews with Paul McCartney that revela a real insight into the man and his music in an almost biographical way Thoroughly enjoyable Brilliant A fantastic insight into the mind of the man and the genius A fine book by a fine author The interesting thing is that there are unreleased interviews in this book The printing and the layout are charming Very good reading. Being a younger fan, who was not able to follow every step of Paul McCartney s carreer since the sixties the moment it happened and read every interview the day it was published, this is a magnificent book The author clearly likes Paul McCartney very much without drifting into senseless fandom, but also hinting at weaknesses but with a loving eye.The interviews themselves give a marvellous insight into McCartney s life and way of thinking, feeling, and living With great ease the different steps of his career and personal development are followed and in the end the reader is left with a feeling of having gotten to know this great musician in a way I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Paul McCartney It s certainly a better and truthful read than any of the biographies out there, which oftentimes left Paul McCartney himself a little baffled with their inaccuracy. In June , Paul Du Noyer was contacted by Paul McCartney s office in London and asked to interview the star as they had met once before and enjoyed a good raport In the years that followed, Paul Du Noyer continued to meet, interview and work for Paul McCartney on a regular basis, producing magazine articles, tour programmes, album liner notes, press materials and website editorial It s likely that Du Noyer has spent hours in formal, recorded conversation with McCartney than any other writer Conversations with McCartney is the culmination of Du Noyer s long association with McCartney and his music It draws from their interview sessions acrossyears, coupling McCartney s own, candid thoughts with his observations and analysis Ce livre est fort bien crit Je l ai lu 2 fois, les conversations que l auteur a eu au fil des ann es ont t tr s bien reproduites Merci
