I m so Sure by Jenny B Jones So, for some reason I picked up this book, even though I disliked the first book greatly, but I m glad I picked it up Comparing So not Happening to I m so Sure , is like the characters in I m so Sure were fifty timeslikable for that matter I loved I m so Sure by Jenny B Jones So, for some reason I picked up this book, even though I disliked the first book greatly, but the new characters The Plot The plot was very intriguing, keeping me glued to the pages I laughed, I whined, I growled, I gasped, I squealed pretty much I was fangirling throughout the whole book I m in, very much like with this one My biggest complaint for I m so Sure is that there was a love triangle Well, two.ish I call that a love diamond But that didn t bother me very much, it seems like all contemporary novels have them My Overall Thoughts I m so Sure was a lovely, fun read I still had my problems with it, but that was some leftover prejudice from book one I actually did love this book I would recommend his book In fact, I ll probably be squealing about it for days to come It was just so cute and awesome Ahhh, even better the second time aroundThe humor and mystery in this book is spot on This second outing is both charming and convolutedbut, some of the humor was over the top. did not like this one as much because it was basically a similar mystery that was poorly developed and i really only skimmed to get to the luke and bella parts which weren t that good either there are also a lot of religious references in here like praying and going to church, which i don t mind but it didn t enhance my experience because i m not religious and it was a little weird for me to read Truman, Oklahoma hasn t turned out as horribly as Bella Kirkwood thought it would Sure, her desitned label allowance has been drastically cut, but with new friends and a comfy position on the school newspaper staff, she s feeling pretty good It also helps that nearly everyone thinks she s some sort of Nancy Drew ever since she figured out what was really going on with the football team Unfortunately, now that Bella s stepdad, a semi pro wrestler, has signed their family up for a team Unfortunately, now that Bella s stepdad, a semi pro wrestler, has signed their family up for a reality TV show, Bella s life is about to take a turn for the unbearable once again As if navigating her relationship with her newspaper editor Luke, a rekindled friendship with her ex boyfriend Hunter, and all of her reporting assignments wasn t hard enough, now she has to do it in the public eye thanks to the camera crew that stalks her And before she knows it, Bella finds herself pursuing yet another mystery at Truman High, this one regarding the upcoming prom How s a girl to keep her cool in the face of all this, especially when the threats of danger start coming I m So Sure was just as cute, hilarious, and clever as its prequel So Not Happening proved to be Bella s character is evenlikable in this story since most traces of her spoiled Manhattan princess roots have been humbled by her acceptance of her new life in Oklahoma and she remains just as determined and hardworking as ever I must admit, I generally dislike the inclusion of reality shows in books because of their tendency to turn even the most upright people into publicity hungry brats, but the wrestling show actually worked well in this novel because it reinforced many of Bella s morals Although I felt the main mystery of this story about prom was less creative and interesting that the one in So Not Happening, I still quite enjoyed it as well as Bella and Luke s somewhat cryptic but still sweet relationship If there s one main thing about I m So Sure that irked me, it was that religion was slightlyemphasized in this novel than in its prequel I do realize that I m So Sure is technically Christian fiction and that the inclusion of faith is to be expected, but there were several instances in which the religious preferences were just unnecessary and the slightest bit annoying.Fans of the So Not Happening, the prequel to I m So Sure, will eagerly snatch up this novel as well as look forward to the next installment in The Charmed Life series, So Over My Head This series may also be enjoyed by readers who liked Pure by Terra Egan McVoy and It s All About Us by Shelley one, when her mom marries a semi pro wrestler and they move to Truman, Oklahomaa far cry from New York Bella s mom met this Christian man on line and has moved to live in a small town in the big woods What was her mom thinking In I m So Sure, Bella is still adjusting to her new home, step dad and her step brothers Bella still flies to N.Y to spend time with her dad in Manhattan on weekends, but things are starting to get weird at her dads Bella s father has a steady girlfriend who has a daughter a little younger than herself Why is her dad falling for this woman Weird could be used to describe life in Truman, Oklahoma too Her step dad, the semi pro wrestler, has just entered the family into a reality T.V show contest If their family is picked, cameras will be following them around everywhere What was her step dad thinking Strange things have also started to happen at Truman High School The schools prom money has disappeared and no one knows how Or who took it for that matter How would they have a prom Luke, the editor of the school newspaper, tells Bella the prom story is his and to back off She needs to focus on the jobs for teen s article Bella promises Luke she would stay away from doing any investigating in the prom story But Bella can t stop the people that come up to her to help them in finding school funds Can she This author had me laugh out loud so hard I almost dropped my book I lost it when Jenny describes the different jobs Bella worked at to write the teen job article Bella stayed at the job long enough to be trained and get the feel of what was required of her in that position This part was hysterical, I can t believe the jobs Bella had and the mishaps she had on her jobs Bella learned to be thankful for these experiences She discovered jobs she never wanted to do again Bella wasn t laughing when some of these embarrassing mishap moments were caught on film by the T.V realty show and shown to the entire world OHMYGOSH I can t wait to read the third and final book in this series called, So Over My Head Can t wait to see what Bella Kirkwood is up to next and what crazy, spontaneous, fun adventure she will take us on Thanks Jenny, for And the drama of her ex boyfriend coming up thought I kind of guessed the ending for him Everything is hectic, and I couldn t get enough Luckily I have the next book beside me and I ll get back to you in a few days But overall all I can say is that this book is worth my 5 star rating, and that means I live for this book, and read fan fiction on it Unlike cheesy stories, Bella doesn t completely change which I find realistic Recommend to almost anyone I may find people like Bella obnoxious, but I can t help but pity her when the hospital staff sends her Christmas cards XD I love Jenny B Jones She is so fun to read I actually read the 3rd book in this series first, and am now reading this one I actually think this one has a much better pacing than in So over my head Its wittier, and the main character seemsin focus Especially the B characters In the third book, they definitely takeof a backseat, but in this one they are hilarious. The only thing I wish could have been left out is reading this That means a win The ends all wrapped up well and super hilariously Think you re having a rough week Bella s stepdad, a semi pro wrestler, just signed the entire family up for a reality TV show Bella s first thought Kill Me Now Living in Truman, Oklahoma wasn t % miserable for Bella Sure, she misses Manhattan, couture clothes, and her dad But she was making new friends at Truman High and almost enjoying her work at the school newspaper Then the whole stepdad wrestler reality show issue hit and her life is now being splashed across weekly tabloids and broadcast newsAs if having a camera crew following her around isn t bad enough, Bella soon discovers a conspiracy against the Truman High prom queen candidates And the closer she gets to the answer, the danger she s inAs her relationship with Luke teeters between friendship and romance, Bella s ex boyfriend Hunter reappears and vies for Bella s attention Denying allegations of a love triangle, working to solve the prom queen mystery, and trying to keep her cool on national television finally motivate Bella to start talking and listening to GodBut what comes next has Bella once again screamingI M SO SURE I have really grown to enjoy these books Laugh out loud fun and just absolute fun, with a memorable main character The antics Bella Kirkwood gets into makes her one of the better Bellas in books She is sassy, determined, nosy, and flawed to the point of endearment The way she solves problems just makes you want to root for her No real complaints with this book. And in conclusion, I have to honestly ask you all what other book incorporates Christian themes, a grand conspiracy at a prom, and I have really grown to enjoy these books Laugh out loud fun and just absolute fun, with a memorable main
